Bill Pay
Balances, including co-pays and private pay rates, can be paid here.
If our providers are in network with the patient's insurance:
-
Patient's primary insurance is billed first, followed by their secondary insurance (if applicable). Should there be any remaining balance, a statement will be mailed to the patient.
-
Patients are responsible for understanding if there's a deductible associated with their insurance; this deductible may result in a higher payment responsibility for the patient.
-
You may contact our office prior to your appointment to inquire about the CPT codes we use for billing to verify what may be covered by your insurance.
If our providers are out of network with the patient's insurance:
-
Private pay rates are available for patients who want an evaluation but have insurance that is not in network with our providers.
-
You may contact our office prior to your appointment to inquire about the CPT codes we use for billing to identify what may be covered by your insurance, if anything.
To pay the amount specified on your billing statement, click the "Pay Bill" button. Payments are processed through Square. If you want to make a partial payment, please contact our office to authorize a payment plan.
We also accept payment by check. Please make checks payable to "Valley MedPsych" and mail them to our office:

PAYMENT TERMS FOR SERVICES PROVIDED
We are committed to meeting your healthcare needs and keeping your insurance and other financial arrangements as simple as possible. To accomplish this in a cost-effective manner for all our patients, we ask that you adhere to our practice’s financial policy.
-
You (the patient) are ultimately responsible for payment of chargers for services you receive from Valley MedPsych, including those covered by your insurance. As a convenience, Valley MedPsych will submit claims for reimbursement with your insurance provider; however, all payment responsibility is ultimately yours.
-
Some immediate payment may be expected at the time of service. This may include a copay and additional payment if Valley MedPsych determines the cost of your visit today will not be reimbursed by your insurance provider. This often happens if your deductible is not yet satisfied.
-
Valley MedPsych may deny service or charge a service fee for failure to provide payment in instances of private pay evaluations.
-
It is your responsibility to provide your current address, telephone number, email address, and insurance information at each visit.
-
You agree to provide Valley MedPsych and/or its designated payment agent with your debit/credit card or ACH* information.
-
You authorize Valley MedPsych and/or its designated payment agent to apply charges to your payment card and/or ACH* account for all amounts owed to Valley MedPsych for visits, procedures, or supplies, including (i) amounts agreed as part of a payment plan, (ii) copayments, (iii) coinsurance (after application of insurance proceeds), (iv) amounts not covered by insurance and/or (v) fees (if applicable) charged by Valley MedPsych for failure to keep a scheduled appointment or provide timely notice of appointment cancellation.
-
In the case of a patient balance that is not satisfied by a charge to your payment method or a payment plan, you may receive a monthly statement for any outstanding balance. You are responsible for paying this balance by its due date to avoid paying possible interest on said balance.
-
Transaction receipts will be maintained in your patient file or will be emailed to you if you provide, and maintain, a valid email address.
-
You authorize Valley MedPsych and/or its designated provider to send electronic account statements and invoices to your email address on file. You understand that it is your responsibility to maintain a current email address on file and that you will not receive a mailed copy of any electronic statement.
